Frequency in flesh
I’ve always known music was my purpose. From the moment I could speak, I was drawn to rhythm, sound, and storytelling. Whether it was school talent shows, choir performances, or the hallways of my performing arts school, I wasn’t just chasing a dream. I was answering a calling.
Right after high school, I began writing and recording, investing in myself with unwavering faith. I didn’t wait for permission. I created. I studied. I worked. Through discipline, bold creativity, and integrity, I built my foundation as a multifaceted artist. Songwriter, vocalist, and storyteller. Today, I have a deep, genre-spanning catalog that speaks to my growth, vision, and voice.
One of the most powerful moments of my journey came at 19, when I wrote and recorded a peace record titled “Amiro Kuch Inkono” which means “I want peace, do you?” It features the voice of my maternal grandmother. She stepped into the studio, delivered a one take freestyle, and created history with me. That record holds the weight of generations. My grandparents fled war in Uganda. My parents arrived in America as refugees. And I now stand on their sacrifices, using my voice to create healing, legacy, and change.
I am currently a proud member of Creative Spaces Music Group in Los Angeles, surrounded by a community of visionary artists. And as I prepare to release new music, I do so with a renewed sense of purpose. I no longer create just to be heard. I create to impact. To empower. To connect.
Beyond the music, I serve as Executive Grants Director for Sharing Hope Medical Mission USA, a nonprofit delivering life saving surgical intervention and education to underserved communities in Nigeria and more. Service, like music, is part of my DNA. Both are vehicles for transformation.
Everything I do is rooted in faith. There was a time when I made good music but felt empty, because I wasn’t walking in alignment with who I was truly created to be. The moment I stepped into that alignment, everything changed. My voice gained power. My purpose became clear.
What drives me most is the ability to move people. To make them feel, think, and remember. That is what true artistry is. As Maya Angelou once said,
“Words are things... they get in your clothes, in your upholstery... and finally into you.”
And I intend to use every word, every note, and every breath to leave something that lasts.
